Pair of English Victorian Staffordshire creamware Toby jugs of a man and the other of a Gin Sal in 18th c. costume. Both shaded from yellow to green in glaze. Earthenware. He has a tricorn hat with a self pulled lip and holds a jug on his oversized belly with a grimacing facial expression. Applied spurred handle. Two mold body. Slip case with smooth interior. Seam lines show. She has a snuff box in her hands above an apron.
