A glazed ceramic tureen modeled in the shape of a cabbage head, finished in mottled green and cream tones with realistically sculpted leaf details; the lid features a leaf-form finial and fits snugly atop the base. This majolica-style piece is consistent with mid-20th century European earthenware decorative serving ware.
